River Dredge

Missouri river dredge deepening the channel for river barges. We should not neglect to keep our hearts clean.

Isaiah 1:18
"Come now, and let us reason together,"
Says the LORD,
"Though your sins are as scarlet,
They will be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They will be like wool." Posted by Picasa

Watching Swallows and Clouds

Posted by Picasa,

Sitting in the back yard watching the clouds and swallows. I could never get the glasses on a swallow to ID it. The tail feathers were blunt narrowing it down to 3 swallows.

The Chouteau bridge near our house has 100’s of Cliff swallows. So my guess was they were Cliff swallows. It is interesting watching them swarm all over the Missouri river.

Also watching the clouds flow east. The sun shinning through the clouds. Is like a
painting in progress. It is always changing .

Psalm 57:10,11

For Your lovingkindness is great to the heavens
And Your truth to the clouds.
Be exalted above the heavens, O God;
Let Your glory be above all the earth.

Fountain Tour

Posted by Picasa

Saturday I took a fountain tour of Kansas City on my bicycle. Leaving at 6:30 in the morning I headed south along Chouteau trafficway. I went as far south as Swope park. Then west along Meyer Blvd. My goal was to take as many photos of fountains as I could.

It turned out that I was no where near done with my goal of seeing and photographing 30 fountains when my time ran out. I had a good 42 mile ride.
