Sandbar Willow
These Sandbar willows were at the lake edge. They were able to live and thrive when the water level of the lake went down.

Spotted Sandpiper
These guys were hard to photograph but I got this one. I catch them feeding along Line creek. They didn't stay in one spot. I got this shot by just pointing and shooting. The bird teeters back and forth like its going to lose its balance. A shallow water feeder.

Ginkgo
Ginkgo fruit.
The bark of the Ginkgo tree.
This tree does not occur much in the wild, I guess only in small parts of China. hence the photo in this cemantary.
Here is a blog all about ginkgo trees.
Exploring the World of Trees has a good post on the Ginkgo tree.

Devotions on the River
I stopped at the Missouri on the way to work for devotions around 6:40AM. There was a little rain as I rode to work on my bicycle. Not a lot of traffic while riding in the dark.
